| Administered by the Louisiana Department of Economic Development, this program provides grants to political subdivisions for the installation of publicly owned infrastructure in support of qualifying economic development projects. The amount of funding available is dependent upon the scope of the project in terms of employment, capital investment and other parameters and its incumbent economic impact upon the State of Louisiana and the local community. Political subdivisions receiving funding for infrastructure projects financed through this program are required to guarantee repayment of these funds in the event the project fails to meet designated performance criteria. |
